A few weeks ago, the B.B. King Museum and Delta Interpretive Center announced its new Director of Entertainment. Robert Terrell, a good friend, will oversee management operations of the historic Club Ebony. Robert will also work with all aspects of entertainment at the Museum, including the B.B. King Home Homecoming festival, which is scheduled for Wednesday, August 22nd, at the Museum grounds and for Mr. King’s after-hours performance at Club Ebony.
Like myself, Robert Terrell is a native of the Mississippi Delta and is active in the community. He is co-owner of the House of Khafre here in Indianola. He is also founder and managing director of Terrell & Associates, a consulting firm specializing in community enrichment, festival production and business development which originated in Chicago where Robert spent much of his career.
Robert has also worked with the Mississippi Action for Community Action (MACE) in Greenville as a promotional and production consultant for the area’s annual Mississippi Delta Blues & Heritage Festival.
Congratulations Robert… looking forward to great things!
