Turning to the polls… November is Indianola’s primary.

And so the Indianola Democratic Executive Committee is now established. There are two city volunteers and it is expected another four will be needed to oversee the November primary. Since there are five wards and one elected mayor, it is ideal to have six committee members. Their job is to qualify each Democratic candidate for mayor. It has been made very clear that no member of the committee can support any candidate during the primary. However, once the Democratic candidate has been voted by the people, committee members can rally for the victor during the general election in December.

I await with huge anticipation to learn further about my opposition. The current mayor is running again. I was also informed a former alderman may run. There is heavy competition in just the Democratic race alone. I am researching the Republican and any Independent candidates that are running as well. However, I am more than confident in my efforts.
