APRIL 6th: JASON TURNER RETURNS TO THE 308 BLUES CLUB

Jason Turner is a singer-songwriter of the Southern persuasion. He moved back to his native Jackson, Mississippi in 2008, following a four-year stint in Nashville. “Storytelling”, is the word he pulls out for his music; a prolific batch of songs that also fit under a broader Americana umbrella, gathering up alt-country leanings and touches of blues and rock. He will soon release a new CD, thanks to the generous efforts of fans and contributors through Pledge Music.

From Jason, himself:

“Thank you so much everybody! WE DID IT!

That’s right guys we made the goal Friday! It’s been a great project so far and the support has been amazing! To see friends and strangers get behind an artists music and a great cause and make this dream of making my next album come true, is just breathtaking!

We start the record in May and I will be updating the whole process here with videos ext. I will start getting everyone’s pledges together over the next few weeks and shipping them out to you. Please do me a favor and check your email to make sure your payment went through so I can send you your stuff. I can’t ship it if it didn’t.

Last thing, we are not done. You can pledge until the release date. EVERYTHING from now on gives 15% to the Blair E Batson Children’s Hospital. Lets see if we can make a huge difference for this great hospital. They need it. I’ll be adding some new items over the next few weeks for you to pledge for.

Again, thank you so much for your support! It’s gonna be a great ride!”
