Election Day is Tuesday, November 2nd

A few days ago, I received the following message. I thought it would be most appropriate to share:

I’m writing today with a two-word request: PLEASE VOTE! This Tuesday, November 2, is Election Day, and there are important elections across the nation that will ultimately determine the future direction and actions of the Federal, State, and Local government.

Thirty-seven of the 100 U.S. Senators and all 435 members of the House of Representatives are up for election, along with 36 of the 50 United States Governors. The outcomes of these elections could significantly impact each and everyone of us individually as well as large and small businesses in trying to create jobs and fuel our economic recovery.

I am certain that each of us has issues that are important to us personally and professionally. I encourage everyone to take time and focus on those issues that matter most to you, to your family, and to your professional life. Vote for those candidates that you believe will best support your point of view and the needs of our nation. If you have any questions about how and where to vote, or how to contact elected officials in your area, visit: USA.gov
